This Privacy Policy explains how the TRX Wallet app handles information. TRX Wallet is a non-custodial wallet designed to minimize data collection: we have no servers that store your personal data, and we never collect or have access to your keys, recovery phrase, or funds.
Keys stay on your device
Your recovery phrase, seed, and private keys are generated and stored only on your device, protected by the Secure Enclave / Keychain and your PIN or Face ID / Touch ID. They are never transmitted to us or any third party and are never logged, analyzed, or backed up to our servers (we have none for this purpose).
No account, no personal data collection
We do not require an email, phone number, name, or any account to use the app. We do not collect personal information for our own use and do not sell or share personal data.
Data used to operate the wallet
To display balances, prices, and history, the app sends your public wallet address and the assets you track to public blockchain and market-data providers — TronGrid and Tronscan (on-chain data and broadcasting), and CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap (prices and token icons). These providers may receive your public address and IP address and process them under their own privacy policies. A public address is not, by itself, your identity, but on-chain activity is public and permanent.
Optional address screening
If enabled, recipient addresses you enter may be sent to an address-risk screening provider to warn you about sanctioned or high-risk addresses. Only the address being checked is sent.
Data stored locally
Preferences (currency, language, theme), your address book, your tracked assets, and cached balances/prices are stored only on your device. They are removed when you delete the wallet or uninstall the app.
Analytics and tracking
The app does not include third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Data retention and deletion
Because your data lives on your device, you are in control of it. You can delete a wallet from within the app, and uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. On-chain transactions, once broadcast, are part of the public TRON ledger and cannot be deleted by anyone.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Security
We use on-device encryption and platform security features to protect your data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure; safeguarding your device, recovery phrase, and PIN is essential.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
